Yuta Iyama (33), who won 11 consecutive victories in one of the seven major Go titles, the "Honinbo Battle," which is the highest record ever, attended the enthronement ceremony on the 9th and said, "I did my best as a result. I am honored and happy to be able to leave it," he said with joy.

Four years ago, Iyama won the People's Honor Award, having achieved two seven-time monopoly on the seven crowns. He broke the record of 10 consecutive victories achieved in 1998 by an honorary master of chivalry (65), and also rewrote the record of consecutive victories in the seven major titles.

On the 9th, Iyama Shikan attended the enthronement ceremony of "Honinbo" held at a hotel in Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo, and received a letter of imprisonment.

Afterwards, Iyama said, "I never imagined that the day would come when I could challenge the record of winning 10 titles in a row, but I'm honored to be able to leave behind the results of what I've done to the best of my ability. I am happy again," he said with joy.

He also talked about his future aspirations, saying, "I still have a lot of things I'm still lacking in my own Go, so I want to improve myself even a little."
