Zhu Naimei, the Shanghai super principal and the principal of Xunyang Road Primary School, told reporters that in 1988, after graduating, he came to Xunyang Road Primary School and worked as a teacher for 10 years and the principal for nearly 25 years.
There were two moments that Zhu Naimei always remembered and became the reason why she took root in Xunyang.

Once I was in a conversation with a little girl, the little girl never dared to look up at me.
Those timid eyes were imprinted in my heart, which actually touched me quite a bit.
There's another scene where a little boy tells me, Principal Mom, when will we have a theater so I can act out what I've learned.
Then I felt that I suddenly had a mission. This mission was to create a beautiful space, a campus space and a campus environment that reasonably allowed children to grow freely.
[Explanation] Many years ago, Zhu Naimei accidentally "surrounded" a math class: in the classroom, the children "sit upright", listen intently, and answer questions in a prudent manner... The classroom order seems to be orderly, but Zhu Naimei shook his head: "The primary school students' Classrooms should not be 'backwater'."
In order to interpret children scientifically and accurately, in 2012, Zhu Naimei introduced information technology to carry out children's portrait evaluation research. Wide-area, modular" three-stage progressive comprehensive curriculum system.

There are several points in the process of our creation that I think can be connected: first, in the 25 years of research, we have always been based on the research of children's life growth, this is one point; second, in all our constructions In the process of research, we always follow the national curriculum standards, which is also a basic bottom line; third, in the whole process of our research, it is growth, and we constantly adjust and improve according to the growth of students.
This is also after we became a new high-quality school in Shanghai, I think Xunyang provided a sample and case.
[Explanation] In Zhu Naimei's view, creating an interesting campus life is the most powerful measure to implement the "double reduction" policy.
In the morning, students study by subject, and in the afternoon, they carry out comprehensive activities. The school creates a "three-stage" "play" course, and offers nearly 40 extended courses in after-school services.
Students' autonomous learning ability has been significantly improved, and the effectiveness of teaching has been better achieved.
There is also a ship called "Dream Factory" parked on the campus, which is also the "Secret Garden" created by Zhu Naimei for the students.

I want to create a classroom and campus without fear, where every child is free, stretched, flexible, sunny and confident.
I don’t think education can be achieved overnight, it must be a process of accumulation, so I didn’t expect 25 years to pass in a flash.
Looking back on 25 years today, we have used 25 years to structure today's "Xunmei Course" to achieve such ideals and goals.
[Explanation] As a principal of a grassroots school, Zhu Naimei has witnessed the development and changes of Shanghai's basic education.
From focusing on subject knowledge to turning to comprehensive development, from highly unified standards to demand-oriented training, education pays attention to each unique individual.
"We are the most ordinary school, but we also want to let the common people enjoy the best quality education." Zhu Naimei said that she sticks to one place, just to do one thing well - to create a good school "at the doorstep" .
