Toward the realization of a digital society, the government has put together a revised draft of the priority plan, and has set up a new meeting of experts on digital assets to investigate and research taxation rules.

With regard to digital assets such as art works in the digital space, the market is expected to expand rapidly in the future, and the development of technology to prove that the products sold and sold are original is being actively promoted.

In response to this, in the revised draft of the priority plan compiled by the government, a meeting of experts on digital assets will be newly established to investigate and research the actual usage situation and taxation rules in Japan and overseas.

In addition, the My Number system will be considered so that it can be used not only in areas such as the enhancement of social security and tax collection, but also in the registration of automobiles and administrative procedures for Japanese living in foreign countries.

Furthermore, we have positioned three years from July as a period of intensive reform, and in addition to reviewing analog regulations and systems, the Digital Agency, including human resources from the private sector, will be able to respond to rapidly changing domestic and international situations. The system will be strengthened.

Based on this proposal, the government plans to coordinate with the ruling party and make a cabinet decision to revise the priority plan in the near future.
