The reporter learned from the East China Sea Second Rescue Flight Team of the East China Sea Rescue Bureau of the Ministry of Transport that at 11:30 on January 6, the East China Sea Second Rescue Flight Team received a notice of danger. In the waters near Ridao Island), a fishing boat was found overturned and floating on the sea. Seven crew members on the boat were suspected to be missing. There were also life rafts and some fishing gear floating on the sea near the fishing boat in distress.
After the rescue helicopter arrived in the sea area where the incident occurred, the fishing boat had completely sunk.
After continuous search, the missing crew members have not yet been found, and maritime search and rescue are still continuing.
