In Saarbrücken, a man was stabbed to death in the street at a bus stop.
A 36-year-old stabbed the victim of the same age on Tuesday lunchtime, the Saarland state police headquarters announced on Wednesday.
The man died a little later in a hospital.
The alleged perpetrator turned himself in to the police.
He is being investigated for a homicide.
According to previous investigations, the two men from the Saarbrücken regional association knew each other.
The background to the fact should have been outstanding debts.
The alleged perpetrator should be brought before a judge on Wednesday.
