The advance of the Taliban is accelerating in the country.

During the night of Tuesday to Wednesday, August 11, the insurgents seized the provincial capital of Faizabad.

It is the ninth province out of 34 that they have taken control since August 6.

As the last American troops prepare to leave the area next September, how will the Afghan army be able to cope?
