, a great pilgrimage to Mecca, begins this weekend in Saudi Arabia.

Because of the coronavirus, for the second year in a row, the vast majority of the faithful who would have wanted to do it this summer will not be able to.

Once again, like last year, the Saudi authorities have indeed drastically reduced the number of pilgrims authorized to go to the holy city, in order to avoid contamination and in particular the spread of variants.
