  After the collapse of the auxiliary building of the Four Seasons Kaiyuan Hotel at No. 188 Youche Road, Songling Street, Wujiang District, Suzhou City, the emergency management department directly video dispatched, the main leaders and leaders in charge of the provinces and cities, as well as the provincial emergency, housing construction, health, fire protection and other departments. The main leaders of Wujiang District rushed to the scene to organize and command rescue.

The Provincial Fire Brigade mobilized 7 detachments, 6 heavy earthquake rescue teams, and 5 light search and rescue teams, including 7 teams for training and combat support, and 120 vehicles rushed to the scene. They made full use of climbing ladders, large cranes, and lifting air cushions. Rescue equipment such as hydraulic expansion supports, metal cutting machines, and technical means such as life detectors, snake eye detectors, rescue dogs, etc., carry out search and rescue operations all night.

  According to the hotel check-in information, 18 trapped persons were found in the early stage. After further analysis and screening of various new information, it was found that there were 5 unregistered information persons trapped. The total number of trapped persons on the scene should be 23.

As of 7:00 on July 13, 14 people have been rescued through full search and rescue. One of them has returned home without injury. The injured have been treated with all-out efforts. The vital signs of 5 people were stable and 8 people were killed.

There are still 9 missing persons who are still in full search and rescue.
