After full search and rescue, all the missing persons have been rescued, and a total of 23 trapped persons have been searched out.

Among them: 1 person went home without injury, 5 injured persons had stable vital signs after treatment, and 17 people were killed.

  At 15:33 on July 12, the auxiliary building of Siji Kaiyuan Hotel, No. 188 Youche Road, Songling Street, Wujiang District, Suzhou City collapsed, causing casualties.

After the accident, the Jiangsu Provincial Fire Brigade immediately mobilized 6 heavy rescue teams, 5 light rescue teams, 5 search and rescue dogs, more than 120 fire trucks, and more than 650 combat personnel rushed to the scene to rescue.

  The auxiliary building of the three-story hotel at the scene of the accident collapsed as a whole, with an A shape in the middle, and crushing collapses on both sides of the north and south. The rescue environment was very complicated.

Four large cranes were urgently mobilized on site to strengthen and support the areas prone to secondary collapse. Under these premises, rescuers divided the site area into 6 areas, and each area had 18 commanders and fighters formed into 3 teams to carry out inspections. Intermittent search and rescue, making full use of life detectors, snake eye detectors, search and rescue dogs and other means to confirm the location of buried pressure personnel, and carry out precise rescues through lifting air cushions, hydraulic expansion top supports and other equipment.

  At present, the Jiangsu Provincial Government has established an accident investigation team to conduct in-depth investigations into the specific causes of the accident in accordance with laws and regulations.

The public security organs have subpoenaed the hotel’s legal representatives, actual operators, project leaders, engineering designers, and on-site construction leaders, etc., and have taken criminal coercive measures against relevant personnel.

  The vital signs of the injured were generally stable.
