At the aquarium in Toba City, Mie Prefecture, a favorite sweetfish was presented to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the arrival of the oldest Baikal seal in Japan.

The female Baikal seal "Natasha" from the Toba Aquarium in Mie Prefecture came from the Soviet Union when she was a baby on May 17, 1981, 40 years ago.

Currently, it is the oldest Baikal seal bred in Japan and has the longest breeding days in Japan.

On the 17th, 6 favorite sweetfish were presented to celebrate the 40th anniversary of coming to the aquarium.

Natasha is about 60 years old in human age, so it was easy for young friends to take some of the sweetfish as gifts.

Mika Kita, the keeper, said, "I left more food than usual for the celebration, so I thought that not eating too much was the secret of my health. I want to keep an eye on everyone from now on." I was talking.
