Yesterday, a Jordanian judge ruled the sum of five piasters of attorney fees in favor of a young lawyer in a case centered on "a cat", which finally sparked controversy in the Jordanian street.

In the details, lawyer Hashem Mansour Nassar said, in a post on his Facebook page, that a judgment was issued yesterday by a judge of the Amman Criminal Court, to pay him fees of five piasters, for the lawsuit he filed for his client regarding causing the death of a pet ( Cat).

Nassar added: "I consider the judgment fair, and I thank God first that the judge is fair, and he gave the issue of the case his right, which pleases God, then I thank those who interacted with this case in the Jordanian street."

On the issue of the case, lawyer Nassar explained: “A cat was neglected and left without adequate care. Only one ».

Nassar confirmed: “After submitting the evidence, including a one-dinar attorney fee agreement, and the pleadings, the perpetrators of the cat’s death were convicted of three weeks in prison, compensation of one Jordanian dinar (approximately four and a half dirhams) for the complainant, and legal fees of five piasters.

The lawyer noted that "the court ruled the fees based on our demand, which is a percentage represented by only one dinar, because the claim is limited to this amount for humanitarian considerations, not material, and that the percentage of fees is correct and the claim is approved, according to the established rules."
