On the morning of the 22nd, a cat was found on the Fukuoka City Expressway in Fukuoka City.

The cat was subsequently successfully captured, but this effect restricted lanes on the highway for approximately three hours.

After 8 am on the 22nd, a person passing by car reported that a cat was lost on the Fukuoka city highway in Hakata-ku, Fukuoka.

When an employee of a company engaged in patrol work rushed in, it was confirmed that one cat was staying on the fence on the shoulder of the road near the entrance of "Enokida" bound for Dazaifu on Route 2.

At the site, after displaying "cats are being captured" on the electric bulletin board of the patrol car, one of the two lanes on each side was restricted and the cats were captured.

Cats do not seem to move, and if stimulated with a net etc., they may fall to the general road on the other side of the road, so we temporarily restricted traffic on the general road under the overpass, but it depends on the Fukuoka Kitakyushu Expressway Corporation. Before 11:30 am, the cat was safely caught on the net and the regulation was lifted.

According to the Fukuoka Kitakyushu Expressway Corporation, there have been rare cases of animals invading the road in the past, such as in early spring.
