France ... a health authority recommends a single dose of vaccine for those recovering from Corona

France's most prominent health authority has recommended that people who have contracted Covid-19 receive only one dose of the vaccine.

The Supreme Health Authority stated that individuals recovering from Covid-19 will have developed an immune response similar to the vaccine, and therefore one dose is sufficient.

The independent authority said in a report of its recommendation that "a single dose of the vaccine will also play a role in reminding" the immune system of a person who was previously infected how to fight Covid-19.

In the event that the decision is implemented, it is expected to accelerate the pace of vaccine deployment in France. All three vaccines approved for use in the European Union - Pfizer, Moderna and AstraZeneca - were developed so that an individual would receive two doses of them a few weeks apart.

Studies based on experiments indicated that obtaining the two doses of the vaccine is the only way to boost immunity against the virus to an almost complete level.
