On December 19, the winter solstice is approaching, the chefs in Chongqing's Fuling Red Wine Town make "Big Mac Dumplings" and invite nearby widows and elderly people to taste them for free.
At the long table, more than 150 people from around the town, including sanitation workers, empty nesters, and left-behind children, tasted this giant dumpling.
The staff told reporters that the mother dumpling weighs about 10 kilograms and contains more than 50 dumplings. There are 6 flavors including pork and shrimp filling, pork and mushroom filling, and pork leek filling.
In addition to the meaning of reunion, these dumplings can also be used to keep small dumplings warm by using large dumplings to make the old people feel warmer.
It is understood that until this year, Red Wine Town has held a "Winter Warming Long Table Banquet" for three consecutive years, inviting left-behind elderly, children, and sanitation workers to eat.
