On December 6, the Health Protection Center of the Department of Health of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government reported that as of midnight on that day, Hong Kong had newly confirmed 95 new cases of new coronary pneumonia, of which 36 were temporarily unknown cases.

A total of 659 cases were confirmed in Hong Kong throughout the week, and the number of confirmed cases exceeded one hundred on three days throughout the week. So far, the total number of confirmed cases has increased to 6,897.

  According to the report, the newly announced confirmed or preliminary confirmed cases that day included 3 staff from the Quarantine Center of AsiaWorld-Expo and 12 residents on the 5th floor of Block 8, Kwai Shing West Village, Kwai Chung, New Territories.

According to the Department of Health, the former is more likely to be infected at work, while the latter is more likely to involve environmental pollution.
