  Case 1 is of Kenyan nationality and lives in Kenya. He departed from Kenya on November 27 and arrived at Shanghai Pudong International Airport on December 1 after transiting through Germany. After entering the country, he was quarantined and observed and developed symptoms during the period.

Comprehensive epidemiological history, clinical symptoms, laboratory tests and imaging examination results, etc., are diagnosed as confirmed cases.

  Case 2 is of North Macedonia and lives in North Macedonia. He departed from North Macedonia on November 29 and arrived at Shanghai Pudong International Airport on December 2 after transiting through Denmark. After entering the country, he was quarantined for observation and developed symptoms during the period.

Comprehensive epidemiological history, clinical symptoms, laboratory tests and imaging examination results, etc., are diagnosed as confirmed cases.

  Case 3 is of Uzbekistan nationality and lives in Uzbekistan. He departed from Uzbekistan on December 1 and arrived at Shanghai Pudong International Airport on December 3 after transiting through Germany. After entering the country, he was quarantined for observation and developed symptoms during the period.

Comprehensive epidemiological history, clinical symptoms, laboratory tests and imaging examination results, etc., are diagnosed as confirmed cases.

  Three confirmed imported cases abroad have been transferred to designated medical institutions for treatment, 61 close contacts on the same flight have been traced, and centralized isolation and observation have been implemented.
