More than 30,000 cases of Covid-19 in 24 hours in France, a first

The number of new cases of Covid-19 contamination in 24 hours has passed the 30,000 mark in France, for the first time since the launch of large-scale tests, according to figures from Public Health France published on Thursday.

The number of confirmed cases stands at 30,621, specifies the site of the health agency.

The number of deaths attributable to the disease stands at 88 for the day, bringing the total death toll to 33,125 since the start of the epidemic.
