Member of the Knesset of the Joint Arab List, Sami Abu Shehadeh, believes that Netanyahu, through his statements, expresses a feeling of superiority over the Arab world, as he feels a great victory over the Palestinian people, explaining that he is sending a message that there is no problem with the Arab world, despite the lack of a solution to the Palestinian issue. He can bypass the Palestinians through other Arab leaderships.

Abu Shehadeh pointed out that the text submitted to the Israeli Knesset contains many differences between the languages written in it. In the Hebrew and English versions, we find no mention of the word "normalization", while the Arabic text does not speak of "conflict", contrary to what the statements of the Emirati leaders suggest. Which is not related to the text of the agreement, he said.

Abu Shehadeh clarified that the text of the agreement does not talk about stopping the annexation of lands from the West Bank, the Palestinian issue, the Al-Aqsa Mosque, or the occupation, but rather in its Arabic version it only talks about an economic deal that includes secret clauses.

Subtle messages

On the other hand, writer and political analyst Tawfiq Hamid considered that Netanyahu wants to send a message to the Palestinians that their loss will be heavy if they do not join the peace train. The second message is to present Israel as a "strong" country, as he put it.

Hamid went on to say that the agreement between the two countries expresses peace between two powers that want to achieve peace and improve their economic relations as a start to the extension of peace in the region, considering that Netanyahu did not mean by the term force the Israeli side only, but rather he meant the strength of Israel and the UAE.

In this regard, Professor of International Relations at Qatar University Hassan Al-Barari disagreed with him, who went on to say that Netanyahu confirms that peace can only come with Israeli power, considering that the UAE cannot be compared to the strength of Israel, as Abu Dhabi wants to seek the help of Tel Aviv in order to achieve its projects at the regional level.

Al-Barari stressed that Netanyahu's message is that Israel has won its battle, and that the Arabs are living in a state of division, and therefore there is a golden opportunity to exploit the state of Arab dispersion in order to achieve a gain for Israel.

It is noteworthy that Netanyahu said that the peace agreement with the UAE came out of strength, and that it is not conditional on negotiating with the Palestinians, indicating that the economic aspect of the agreement will bring great benefits to Israel, and added that Islamic and Arab countries are seeking to approach Israel because of its strength.
