US President Donald Trump -

Donald Trump has long minimized the devastation of the Covid-19 pandemic and now he, as well as his wife Melania, is affected by the virus.

"Karma" wrote activist Padma Lakshmi bluntly.

"It is what it is."

Others, like actor Zach Braff and director Judd Appatow, recall that the President of the United States did not believe in the existence of the virus, adding that he is suddenly "affected by a hoax", as

Compassion (but not too much)

Patricia Arquette recalls on Twitter that the President and the First Lady, unlike the majority of Americans, have the right to unlimited access to health care and she hopes that Donald Trump will not say that it is "just a bad cold ".

Mark Hamill hopes, for his part, that "supporters (of Donald Trump) will henceforth reassess their opinion" on the pandemic.

"If now they accept containment, social distancing and wearing a mask, we will be able to destroy the virus as we should have done from the start," he added on Twitter.

A hope shared by filmmaker Ava DuVernay.

One of the few to show a little empathy, against all expectations, is Alyssa Milano, who still suffers from post-Covid symptoms.

“I can honestly tell you that I don't wish this virus even on my worst enemy,” she shared on her account.

To date, the virus that Donald Trump described as a "Democrat hoax" has killed more than 208,000 people in the United States and infected more than 7.31 million Americans ... including him.
