Five new infections confirmed in Kagoshima Yoroncho New Coronavirus July 26, 18:41
Kagoshima Prefecture announced on the 26th that five new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in the remote island of Yoron.
Infections were confirmed in all 5 men and women aged under 10 to 60s living in Yoron Town.
In Yoron-cho, a total of 34 infections have been confirmed over the five days up to the 26th.
Kagoshima Prefecture and its towns are calling on residents and tourists from outside the prefecture to refrain from visiting Yoron Island as much as possible, and are promoting the transportation of people who have been confirmed to be infected.
A total of 216 infected people have been confirmed in Kagoshima Prefecture.
