Kagoshima Prefecture 10 newly confirmed infections, including 6 in Yoron-cho New Corona July 28 19:04
Kagoshima Prefecture announced on the 28th that 10 new cases of the new coronavirus have been confirmed.
Infections were confirmed in six males and females living in remote islands in Yoron-cho, from the ages of 10 to 60, males in their 40s in Kirishima, males and females in their 50s in Ibusuki, and 80s in Satsumasendai. There are 10 women in total.
In Yoron-cho, a total of 42 infections have been confirmed over the 7 days up to 28th.
Kagoshima Prefecture says that it is highly likely that a cluster of infected people = clusters has occurred at the Yoron Tokushukai Hospital and restaurants that are the only general hospital in Yoron Town, and the cluster countermeasure group of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare is proceeding with the investigation. ..
Because Yoron-cho is a remote island and the medical system is vulnerable, the prefectures and towns call on residents and tourists from outside the prefecture to refrain from visiting Yoron-jima as much as possible.
A total of 229 infected people have been confirmed in Kagoshima Prefecture.
