Due to the heavy rain, around 4 a.m. on July 8, a landslide occurred in a village in Dahe Town, Huangmei County, causing 5 households and 9 people to be buried. At present, local emergency organizations such as emergency, public security, armed police, health, medical and other forces participate in the rescue, and do their best to rescue the trapped people. More than 40 other villagers in the village have all been moved to a safe zone.
It is reported that on July 8 from 0:00 to 06:00, a heavy rainstorm in Huangmei County was more than 200 mm, and Dahe Town had a maximum of 353 mm.
