The reporter learned from the Huangmei County Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters that due to the heavy rain, at 4 a.m. on July 8, a sudden landslide occurred in Group 3 of Yuanshan Village, Dahe Town, Huangmei County, causing 5 households and 9 people to be buried. The main leaders of Huanggang City and Huangmei County rushed to the scene after hearing the news, organized emergency, public security, armed police, health, medical and other forces to participate in the rescue and spare no effort to rescue the trapped people. At present, more than 40 other villagers in the village have been transferred to a safe zone.
