Updated figures from the Ministry of Health reveal a decrease in the number of infections in the last 24 hours. Specifically, 125 new cases have been detected compared to 154 yesterday. Most of them are located in Aragon (33), which overtakes Catalonia (24) and Madrid (17).
Regarding the number of deceased, with death date in the last week they are 21 . Thus, the total number of deaths since the start of the pandemic amounts to 28,324.
Regarding the number of hospitalizations, 150 people have entered in the last seven days (51 more than yesterday), with which there are already a total of 124,880 since the start of the pandemic . Of these, 10 patients have entered the ICU in the last week (a total of 11,638).
At the European level, Spain remains in third position by number of infections (246,504) , only behind Russia (592,280) and the United Kingdom (304,331). Italy and Germany continue in fourth and fifth position (238,499 and 190,359 cases, respectively). The country with the highest number of deaths remains the United Kingdom (42,632), followed by Italy (34,634) and France (29,640).
