  Luo Yilong, the medical director of Earl of Jen General Hospital, introduced at the meeting that there have been no new confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia for 36 consecutive days in Macao. The cumulative number of confirmed cases has remained at 45, and the total number of discharged cases is 43. There are 2 cases still hospitalized for treatment, all of which are mild ,Stable condition.

  For some experts who said that the new Pneumococcal pneumonia virus may exist for a long time, Luo Yilong said that the Macao SAR government has entered the normalization of anti-epidemic and is ready to fight "a protracted war". Although the epidemic in Macau has now eased, the global epidemic is still grim and cannot be taken lightly. The government has made various plans and gradually resumed social activities under the controllable risks.   Primary schools in Macao will resume classes one after another on May 25. Regarding the immigration measures for cross-border elementary school students, the Director of the Education and Youth Bureau, Liang Yi'an, said that relevant cross-border students and accompanying persons must register with the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau in advance, and then submit the information Handed over to the police headquarters and customs department. In addition, cross-border students are required to hold a 7-day valid nucleic acid test certificate, and they need to bring all the customs clearance certification documents, and the accompanying personnel also need to bring the certificate provided by the school, and they can be exempted from quarantine medical observation when they enter or leave Zhuhai.
