The health crisis has severely paralyzed the French economy, affecting some sectors, such as culture, more severely. Theaters, cinemas, major museums and concert halls have been closed for seven weeks where filming was also interrupted and many festivals canceled. The President of the Republic announced on Wednesday a series of support measures for the culture sector, calling on artists to be "inventive" in this period of uncertainty. How are these measures received in the artistic community? Response with Malika Seguineau, Director General of Prodiss, the national union for musical and variety shows.

If Emmanuel Macron announces an extension of the rights of intermittent workers until August 31, 2021, this effectively means that we are all aware that normal recovery will not occur before. It is therefore important that the systems put in place today to support businesses can be maintained at least until August 2021.  ”
