An initiative to manufacture 100 thousand masks distributed to the soldiers of the first line of defense in Tunisia, launched by the activist within the "Tunisian Youth Security Organization" Rehab El-Magri, in addition to making the largest muzzle through which she aspires to enter the "Guinness Book of Records" in order to draw the world's attention on the manufacturing capacity in Arab countries, as well as about what can be provided to first-class soldiers who work to protect all members of society from the emerging "Corona" virus.

Al-Majri assured "Emirates Today" that the main goal of the initiative is to demonstrate the ability of Arab youth to turn adversity into grants and strive to spread hope and life.

She added: “We all became aware of the role of masks in protecting against the spread of the (Covid-19) virus, and the importance of joining individual efforts with the efforts of the state and supporting the health sector, even if it was the simplest thing.” Noting that the goal of making 100,000 masks, as well as making the largest muzzle, is drawn The world's attention is on the capabilities of Arab youth, and that the primary goal of the initiative is to spread hope and work in a team spirit with the rest of the institutions, and to use the energies of young people, each in its field, to serve the nation.

Regarding the materials that will be used in the manufacture of gags and their conformity with health conditions, Magri confirmed that the Tunisian Ministry of Health has set a set of standards and conditions for the manufacture of gags, there is a specific type of fabric that will be used, and that the quantities made of gags must be sterilized before being distributed, and a contract has been contracted with a company Especially for sterilization you will sterilize fabrics, plant and masks on a daily basis, from floors and equipment to the team involved in the manufacture of gags. The team working on the initiative consists of 20 young men and women between the ages of 24 and 35, in addition to a fashion designer who put her sewing lab at the initiative of making masks.

Participants in the initiative began sewing gags about two weeks ago. As for the large muzzle that the initiative aspires to enter the "Guinness" book through, it noted that there are no details yet about its size, because the specialists in the laboratory will determine it later. Al-Majri said that this initiative infuses the positive spirit in the soul, and "it is important in the current stage that the person be hopeful."

Integrated initiative

The initiative launched by Rehab Al-Majri is not limited to manufacturing masks, but it is an integrated project that will reach to distribute meals to a number of hospitals for medical and paramedical staff, in addition to preparing for a special initiative in the blessed month of Ramadan for poor families. Work is under way to manufacture large size sterilizers containing high-quality sterilizers.
