Jordanian Health Minister Saad Jaber said on Sunday evening that the number of cases currently infected with the new corona virus in Jordan has risen to 10, adding that a Jordanian infected with the virus escaped from Prince Hamza Hospital before entering isolation.

Jaber told the local "Kingdom TV" that two of the three cases that had recently discovered a US patient had visited Jordan, while the third had come from Iraq.

The official of the Corona file at the Ministry of Health, Adnan Ishaq, announced that an Iraqi woman who had come to Jordan from the British capital London had discovered that she was infected with the new Corona virus.

Ishaq told Al-Mamlaka that the woman arrived in Jordan 10 days ago, and that "the mixture of the lady who lives in Jordan was tracked and samples were taken from them for examination."

The director of Prince Hamzah Hospital, Abdul-Razzaq Al-Khashman, told Al-Mamlaka that the Iraqi woman who was infected with the virus had introduced health isolation in a hospital.

The Minister of Health, Dr. Saad Jaber, announced earlier Sunday that two Jordanians and 4 French tourists had been infected with the new Corona virus in Jordan, which entered the stage of containing the virus.

Jaber said during a press briefing with the Minister of State for Information Affairs Amjad Al-Adayleh in the Prime Minister: "If we pass the stage of two weeks with full control, we will have eliminated the disease."
