[Explanation] March 5th is the traditional Chinese solar terms "shock". For Hong Kong people, the most familiar shock custom is "beat a villain".

[Explanation] "Hit the villain" is a kind of traditional blessing ceremony in Hong Kong. It is usually in the corner of the street or under the overpass. Those who want to "drive the villain" entrust the "killer" princess to hit the humanoid paper that symbolizes the unlucky with shoes or other hard objects, and burn the paper tiger representing the disaster star, thereby achieving the effect of staying away from right and wrong, eliminating disasters and solving problems.

[Explanation] The most famous location in Hong Kong for "playing villains" is the area around the Gooseneck Bridge in Causeway Bay. At noon on the 5th, when the reporter arrived at the scene, there was incense and enthusiasm. Nearly ten clergymen sit around, and in front of each clergyman there are people waiting in line. With your hands and shoes falling, the crackling sound of "cracking", the sound of the bells shaking by the goddess, the traffic lights of "dididi" and the sound of whistling cars, the air is filled with a strong smell of incense.

Today is a day of astonishment. Generally, it is seeking wealth, resolving unlucky things, seeking wealth and blessing, and asking for whatever you like. In an epidemic situation, the most important thing is to eliminate disasters and solve difficulties, dispel evil spirits, be healthy, and go in and out of peace.

[Explanation] The staff who assisted in the distribution of Baijie Lingfu at the scene said that due to the impact of the epidemic, the flow of people this year has decreased compared with previous years. People present wore masks, gloves, and even goggles to protect their feet. Many people said that they would add content related to the "outbreak" to their wishes.

It's been seven or eight years, and it's fun every year. These are traditional Chinese customs, just a way to make yourself feel at ease. All are asking for their homes to be safe and the villains away. Plague is also a kind of villain. It is a bad time. I hope it will leave as soon as possible. The Bodhisattva will bless the plague.

Because there is always an epidemic of pneumonia, some people say that you can do this to keep you safe, so try it. (Hopefully) the epidemic is over and everyone is cheering.
