Researchers from 12 Arab and foreign countries will discuss the present and future of the Arabic language, during the activities of the "Language .. Bridge between Cultures" conference, organized by the Faculty of Al-Alsun at the Egyptian University of Luxor.

120 researchers and researchers in language sciences and literature from the countries of Egypt, Algeria, Morocco, Nigeria, Palestine, Djibouti, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Italy, Spain and Germany participate in the conference, which started its scientific sessions yesterday.

The conference was opened, the day before yesterday, with enthusiastic songs and performances of the Arab heritage, as the enthusiasm seemed great to the participants, who stressed the need to do everything to achieve the preservation and protection of the Arabic language and its literature.

The Algerian academic and researcher Dr. Idriss Hamrouche spoke about the present Arabic language and its problems that threaten it among its people and in its home, stressing the need to develop an Arab vision that achieves protection for the Arabic language and enables it to participate strongly in various scientific contributions besides literary contributions.

The president of the conference, Dr. Rabie Salama said: “The conference aims to study the present and future of the Arabic language, along with several research axes, including text sciences, language sciences, studies in the field of translation from and to Arabic, teaching Arabic to speakers of other languages, interstitial sciences between art, music and literature. , Children's literature, and intercultural dialogue, by discussing about 70 papers.

The conference was opened with enthusiastic songs and instrumental music from the Arab heritage.
