Alan Robert, nicknamed "French Spiderman", climbed a bare hands without a safety net, skyscraper in Barcelona today, Wednesday, to warn of "contagious fear" within the spread of the emerging Corona virus.

The 57-year-old adventurer climbed under the curiosity of the 145-meter-high "Agbar" tower, and came out of it within 47 minutes.

The local police stopped him when he returned to the ground, while some passersby applauded him.

"There is a similarity between what I do, that is, climbing without a rope, which may lead to some form of fear, and what happens with the Corona virus," Robert told AFP, before starting to climb the building, which is one of Barcelona's landmarks.
"Today, what is the biggest infection?" Corona virus is not fear. "There are three billion people now who are more likely to fear about this disease that we do not control."

The spread of the virus has killed 3,200 people, according to a recent toll compiled by Agence France-Presse, according to official sources.

The French "Spiderman" climbed more than 100 buildings, including the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, the highest in the world, and the Eiffel Tower, and entered the Guinness Book of Records. He often passes political messages as he climbs these towers.
