A Wuhan squad leader at the Vulcan Mountain construction site: The worker confirmed that I was isolated and did not regret taking the job

"Sister, you don't have enough staff. Can you come over to help me? I must plan for the worst if I come." When I called, it was 7 PM on February 4th, and there was some finishing work on Vulcan Mountain Hospital. My sister is a high school art teacher. When she said that, she was a little scared, but after 5 minutes, she called and said that she was riding a battery car and rushed to Vulcan Mountain Hospital.

My name is Hu Jun. I just turned 30 this year. I am a monitor of Wuhan Yuheng Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. I haven't been idle since January 27. First at the Vulcan Mountain Hospital, I worked ten hours a day and only slept for six hours.

On February 4, my wife and sister also came to the construction site of Vulcan Mountain Hospital to help. Two days before the delivery, I went to work one day and two nights in a row, tired me to go home and slept for 8 hours before I went back to work.

On February 9, I went to the construction site of the Fangcai Hospital of Daji Health Valley in Caidian District.

Now, according to regulations, I am being isolated. Although I am a bit tired and a bit worried about isolation, I do not regret taking this job. This is my hometown. I have to contribute.

Worker Qi shouted "The scene was shocking"

Wuhan Yuheng Company is a local construction company in Caidian District. When the Vulcan Mountain Hospital was built, the company, as a participating company, cooperated with the China Construction Third Bureau.

On the evening of January 26, I brushed my circle of friends at home and saw that the company leaders sent a notice that Vulcan Mountain Hospital needed someone. Seriously, there was a lot of blood. My home is in Ma'an Village. Vulcan Mountain Hospital is less than 2 kilometers away from my home. Before I discuss it with my family, I will talk to the leader and I will go.

Just do it.

This time the amount of work is huge and time is tight, but people are hard to find. While I was doing it, I asked my friends to find someone. Not to mention, this group of friends is interesting enough. One day, they can bring a hundred people to the construction site. I will assign staff to each department in proportion to 20 or 30 in each department.

Our work is not complicated. We need to lay waterproof layer, transport steel bars, plates and install the cubicles in cooperation with the China Construction Bureau. The real difficulty is rushing time.

My main job is to give them demonstrations and direct the scene. The construction site was very noisy, so I shouted with a loudspeaker: the steel bars should be bundled like this, the bricks could not be laid like that, hey, I'll show it to you ... After a few hours, my throat was dry, even for a few days speak loudly.

The workers worked hard and worked two shifts. I am the squad leader mainly responsible for directing, but the disadvantage is that I can't get off work on time. It's normal to be connected for 12 hours. If you go back for a six-hour break, you have to come back to arrange the transfer.

By January 31, there were only two days left on February 2.

At five o'clock in the afternoon, I came to the construction site to install the ward partition. We put the partitions in the designated positions and number them one by one according to different parts, which is convenient for the workers of the China Construction Third Bureau to install. That night, we concentrated all the people overnight and first shipped the plates downstairs and piled them up to prepare for the next day's work.

Began to move the partitions and number the next day. I didn't care about leaving work either, and then directed the puppet. Some workers do n’t have enough hands to move the boards. I lightly pick up the handles, and heavy ones load and unload with a crane. Time unknowingly arrived at night, as if I didn't feel tired.

When I feel sleepy, I go outside to smoke a cigarette. When I saw the drone flying over my head, I was afraid to smoke more. I lost my cigarette butt and went back to the construction site. It may be cold, when some workers started, "One Two Three" called out the horn. At the beginning, there were fewer people and less noise. Later, the crowd was loud and the scene was shocking. When you are in this environment, you still don't want to be sleepy.

On the third day, at ten o'clock in the morning, only the ceiling of the fifth building we were responsible for was not installed. But I really couldn't handle it, so I ran home and slept until 4 o'clock in the afternoon when I was called by a phone call. Then I went back to the construction site and finished the rest.

My sister and wife were also called to help me

On February 2, Vulcan Mountain Hospital was officially handed over. However, some follow-up work needs to be completed. For example, the keys in the room must be properly separated, the hospital must be cleaned, and excess steel partitions must be transported out.

But at that time, patients were already in the hospital, and many workers were worried about safety. There were only 20 people in our class, and the staff was not enough. In particular, the keys to the doors of the hospital are troublesome to distribute.

I was thinking about the girl's mind to be more careful, my wife and sister said, and asked them if they would like to come to help.

They usually support my work and often encourage me. Although they would be a little worried at this time, they also said that they wanted to do their part. Our home is very close to Vulcan Mountain, and they arrived less than 10 minutes after the phone call.

After explaining the work, they officially went to work the next day.

Vulcan Mountain Hospital has 5 districts with more than 500 rooms and three doors in each room. More than a thousand keys, my wife and sister came with the two workers, and divided the keys according to their numbers.

There is no other way to divide these keys, only one key to try. They have more than a thousand keys, they have to carry them at any time, and then try each floor. After working all day, they finally assigned the keys to each room.

Finally my sister told me that her hands were almost unconscious. After the keys were divided, they continued to do the cleaning here. From February 3rd to 7th, they stayed here for a total of 5 days.

My younger sister is a high school art teacher. I didn't expect her to suffer this kind of suffering.

Some workers say "don't pay"

Although there are only 50 people in my class, the workers in the class are constantly changing. The workers under my hands have been going back and forth over the past ten days, and almost saw thousands of people. Everyone usually works hard enough, but I am particularly impressed by a group of workers.

On February 3, we had a large number of partitions to send over for installation. I also entrusted the workers, and some familiar people also helped introduce them. At this time a worker pulled more than 20 people over.

The task was particularly heavy that day. Dozens of trucks were placed on the side of the road. After moving one bulkhead, the next one continued to come in. There are hundreds of partitions on a car, two people in a group. Remove the partitions from the car first, and then move them to the ward for assembly, just like moving a house. Look tired.

But I don't know why they are so fierce, just like the chicken blood. It started at noon, and moved from day shift to night, and then when the night shift came to hand over, they moved on.

At 6 o'clock in the morning on the 4th, we finally finished moving the partition.

After the end, they took a group photo together, and then prepared to settle their salary for one day. The construction site is tiring, but the wages are okay. A worker has about 1,000 yuan per day.

But what I didn't expect was that some workers said they would not pay, "We just came here to help and do our part as Wuhan people, what do we want to do with wages?"

I was a little hesitant at first. The leader of them still felt that they should. After all, he was responsible to his workers. Talking and arguing with the workers.

But I definitely can't let them dry up. So just tell them that signing a salary is also a guarantee for them. In case some of them get new crown pneumonia because of this, they have a record and it is convenient for our company to contact them for treatment.

After saying it again and again, they finally signed to receive the wages, and at this time it was not dawn.

I was quarantined after finishing the cabin hospital

On February 7, all the finishing work of Vulcan Mountain Hospital was finally completed. After going home with my wife and sister, I slept for 8 hours that day, the longest day of sleep during this time.

Next, our company received the task of assisting the construction of the Fangcai Hospital in Caidian District, and I continued to prepare for the next day.

The square cabin hospital in our district is located in the Yangtze River Media Conscience Valley practical training base. The houses are all ready-made. It only needs internal renovation. The workload is much easier than that of Vulcan Mountain Hospital, and it can get off work on time every day.

The planned number of beds in the square cabin hospital is 1,000. To be honest, the square cabin hospital in our area is still very good, there are only two beds in a compartment. Each bed has a bedside table with a charging port.

There are many partitions, but this work is not difficult. On February 18th, the square cabin hospital was officially delivered. After all the work was done, I fell asleep in bed all day.

I was going to stay on standby, and I might take a break. Before setting up a canopy for Vulcan Mountain Hospital, one of my workers was diagnosed with new crown pneumonia, and the next day after the delivery of the Fangcai Hospital, I was isolated.

During this time of isolation, it is impossible to say not to worry. I have a two-year-old child, and if I was diagnosed, my family would be at risk.

But I don't regret taking the jobs of Vulcan Mountain and the Fangcai Hospital. After all, I'm from Wuhan. Which one doesn't want to let the epidemic pass sooner.

11 days have passed and now my body is perfectly fine.
