The Civil Aviation Authority issued a new statement, yesterday, Thursday, regarding the incident of the arrested pilot Ashraf Abu Al Yaser and the artist Muhammad Ramadan, by photographing the pilot's cockpit.

The head of the Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority, pilot Sameh El-Hefny, said, “It is about the incident of the video clip of one of the famous artists (Mohamed Ramadan) inside the cockpit of an aircraft of an Egyptian airline. The Civil Aviation Authority and all the competent authorities at that time conducted a careful investigation to confirm the incident. And its implications ».

Al-Hefny added in the statement that “according to the results of the investigation, the flight commander’s recognition of the validity of the incident and the violation of the Egyptian Civil Aviation Law No. 28 of 1981 and amended by Law No. 136 of 2010, and based on that, a decision was taken to cancel the pilot’s pilot’s license permanently, and to withdraw the assistant pilot’s license for a period General, based on the commitment of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and its affiliated companies and bodies to the legislations and laws regulating the air transport industry, which place air safety measures at the top of their priorities ».

Pilot Ashraf Abu Al Yusr had announced that he would present next Sunday with a petition to the Civil Aviation Authority to cancel its decision to cancel his license permanently, expressing his wish to reconsider the decision.

He said in a statement, that he will hold a press conference to answer all questions from the media, and clarify the justifications for submitting the petition to the authority of civil aviation, pointing out that the video of Mohammed Ramadan is “fabricated”, as a video clip was inserted on the memorial photos that the artist requested while on the trip, pointing out that Muhammad Ramadan asked for a picture, then photographed a video without his knowledge, which is an infringement of intellectual property rights and public defamation.

The pilot added: «I asked Ramadan during the return trip to upload the video from the Social Media, so he promised, but he did not keep his promise.

For his part, Muhammad Ramadan posted a video of him in the plane's cockpit, commenting on him in a recent tweet: “I am not happy when I said that Captain Aref is in a video that is visualized .. I do not know the laws of civil aviation. By God, I did not, and I will not abandon him, and our Lord knows that alone.
