New virus consultation desk toll free from today 6:23 on February 7

The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare has changed the telephone consultation service for the new coronavirus to a toll-free number that can be used for free from 7th, in order to have more people use it.

As the infection with the new coronavirus spreads, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare has set up a telephone consultation service from last month and staff members with medical qualifications are responding.

Nearly 6,000 consultations were received by the 5th, such as "I'm worried that I have a fever and aren't infected" or "I want to know how to prevent infection."

The number of consultations has increased day by day, and the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare has changed to a toll-free number that can be used free of charge from July 7 in order to increase the number of people who can use it in the face of growing concerns.

The telephone number is 0120-565653 and is open from 9 am to 9 pm not only on weekdays but also on weekends and holidays.
