Apple said it will replace the phone covers with chargers purchased for the XS, XS Max and XR models after problems prevented them from charging the box itself which led to problems charging the devices that were attached to it.
The company said that the problem lies in charging and not doing the required tasks, denying that the matter has to do with safety, so the phone covers do not pose a threat to its users at the present time.
Defective cases were detected in manufactured phones between January January and October 2019.
It can be replaced either by Apple itself or an authorized service provider where it will be scanned.
The dysfunctions will be eliminated in an "environmentally friendly way," according to the company.
