The Tokyo District Public Prosecutor's Office issued a statement that Carlos Ghosn, a former chairman of Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., was released on bail in April and was banned from traveling abroad. An interview with relevant parties revealed that he had requested the court to rescind the president's bail.

If the Tokyo District Court approves the request, Ghosn's bail has been revoked, and 1.5 billion yen on bail is expected to be confiscated in the future.
