A 54-year-old son has been arrested for living in an apartment building in Adachi-ku, Tokyo, after leaving her body, which appears to be an elderly mother, for more than a year. The Metropolitan Police Department is examining the details of the statement, stating that he wanted to live together for a little longer.
The arrested was Mr. Toda (54), whose occupation was unknown in Kurihara, Adachi-ku.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, there is a suspicion of leaving a body that seems to have lived with a mother in a home apartment for more than a year. He visited the police station 30 days ago and said that he was still living with his deceased mother.
The body was found in a bag in a bed in the bedroom, with no noticeable trauma. In response to the investigation, he said, "My mother died at home last January. I thought I would live together for a little longer, but I was mentally tired."
