“As of the morning of July 29, there are 232 centers of forest fires in the regions of the district on an area of 1.603 million hectares,” the text says.
It is noted that at present the most difficult situation is observed in the Krasnoyarsk Territory (94 fires) and the Irkutsk Region (137 fires).
In connection with the unfavorable situation in the Siberian Federal District, Menyaylo said it was necessary, among other things, to take additional measures to minimize the impact of smoke on citizens, to provide residents of the regions with medical aid.
Earlier it was reported that the area of forest fires in the Krasnoyarsk Territory increased by 38 thousand hectares per day - up to 986 thousand hectares.
Also, as URA.RU reported, the situation with forest fires was assessed by the EMERCOM of Russia in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District.
