The Dubai Chamber for Digital Economy is preparing for a program of important activities and events, which it will organize and sponsor during GITEX Global 2022.
The Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, the strategic partner of North Star Dubai, is the largest startup event in the world, which reflects the continuous development of the global ecosystem of startups, and the important role that startups play in advancing innovation and international cooperation in the business sector.
The participation of the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy contributed to giving renewed momentum to the North Star Dubai exhibition, as the exhibition’s capacity in this session increased by 30% to accommodate more than 1,000 exhibitors from 60 countries, and more than 600 investors in the thriving entrepreneurship ecosystem.
The Dubai Chamber for Digital Economy will present its services, programs and initiatives in a special pavilion at North Star Dubai, while it will have basic activities and events that consolidate its efforts to attract global digital companies, support digital companies and improve the business environment.
The Dubai Chamber for Digital Economy will organize an important event in which a number of international companies "unicorns", which do not yet have a presence in the Emirate of Dubai, will bring together an event that is also attended by more than 100 major investors around the world, to introduce attendees to the economic scene in the emirate, and attract them to establish their businesses in Dubai.
The Dubai Chamber for Digital Economy will launch a special initiative during GITEX Global, in order to stimulate innovative ideas in advanced digital sectors, and consolidate Dubai's position as a destination and center for creative ideas in the field of digital economy. The Dubai Chamber for Digital Economy will co-sponsor a number of business meetings with startups on the sidelines of the exhibition period, in addition to participating in various discussion sessions, while the external offices of the Dubai Chambers in India, Ethiopia and Azerbaijan will sponsor trade missions from these countries to participate in GITEX Global Together, it includes more than 20 companies, to introduce them to the investment environment in Dubai, and to help them weave a network of relationships to expand to the emirate's markets.
The Executive Director of the Dubai Chamber for Digital Economy, Khaled Al-Jarwan, pointed out to the Chamber's keenness to unify efforts to develop Dubai's digital economy, and consolidate the emirate's position as a global destination for technology, innovation and modern technologies, pointing out that "the Chamber's participation in (GITEX Global) and its strategic partnership with ( North Star Dubai), is part of the Chamber’s commitment to attract digital startups and support and develop the digital economy system in the Emirate.
The Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy will display in its special pavilion the advanced virtual reality technology and helmet, which will be applied in the specialized training academy "Metaverse", which it recently launched to change the way digital startups think, and guide them on how to take advantage of the world of "Metaverse" in promoting and developing their businesses.
