The meeting held that since the establishment of the Hengqin Cooperation Zone one year ago, both Guangdong and Macao have conscientiously implemented the "Overall Plan for the Construction of the Hengqin Guangdong-Macao Deep Cooperation Zone", closely focused on the development requirements of serving Macao and promoting the integration of Qin and Macao, and jointly promoted the realization of the construction of the cooperation zone. The cooperation zone has accelerated the establishment of rules and regulations, the working rules of the management committee, the rules of procedure of the executive committee and other rules and regulations have been promulgated and implemented, and the system and mechanism of joint consultation, construction and management between Guangdong and Macao have been continuously improved.
Major policies have been advanced in an orderly manner. Policies such as individual income tax and corporate income tax have been implemented successively. The convergence of rules and mechanisms between Guangdong and Macao has been further promoted.
The construction of major projects has been accelerated, a number of key industrial projects have been signed and settled, and the comprehensive livelihood project of "Macao New Neighborhood" has been smoothly advanced.
The "Macao element" has been increasing continuously. The number of Macao-funded enterprises, the number of Macao residents, the number of Macao residents seeking medical treatment, the number of Macao single-plate vehicles, Macao students, and the number of Macao media reports have all achieved substantial growth, and the integration of Qin and Macao has entered a new stage.
