Rather than using a soft top, Ferrari chose a retractable top for the SF90 Spider.
This technical choice still adds 100 kg more on the scale, which increases the mass of this car to 1,670 kg, and results in the heaviest V8-engine Ferrari ever built.

However, its 4-liter biturbo engine still develops 780 hp and 800 Nm. And that's not all: the hybrid engine is assisted by 3 electric units (one between the V8 and the gearbox, one on each front wheel), and the whole develops 1000 hp in combined power.
Enough to take the beautiful from 0 to 200 km / h in 7 seconds, against 6.7 seconds for the coupe.
A 7.9 kWh lithium-ion battery allows the Ferrari to run in 100% electric mode for 25 km.

As an option, the Spider can receive the Assetto Fiorano pack which adds a carbon spoiler and Multimatic controlled damping.
The price of what promises to be one of the most powerful convertibles on the market is set at around € 473,000.
