In February, a male university student in his 20s was found dead on the street in Osaka's Chuo Ward.

Police arrested two of the three, a male and a female, on suspicion of causing death in the robbery, as it was suspected that the university student had been threatened by three junior high school students moments before and fell off a building while running away. The boy was reported to a child consultation center.

According to the police, on February 12th, Gaku Ota (22), a university student from Kusatsu City, Shiga Prefecture, was found collapsed on the street in Kawara-cho, Chuo-ku, Osaka.

He suffered severe blows all over his body and was taken to the hospital, where he later died.

It is believed that he fell from a nearby building.

When the police investigated, they found evidence that he had jumped from a nearby 7-story building to the roof of an adjoining 4-story building, and that he was seen walking with a young woman at the time believed to be just before the fall. The police suspected that he was involved in the incident and were investigating because the footage was captured on camera.

As a result, it was discovered that the university student was about to be extorted from money by three middle school students, and it is suspected that he fell from the building while escaping.

As a result, by the 7th, police had arrested a 15-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl on suspicion of robbery resulting in death, and notified the boy, who was 13 at the time, to a child welfare center.

The university student seems to have met the arrested girl on SNS in January, so police are investigating the details of the incident.

Upon investigation, the girl admitted to the charges, while the boy partially denied the charges.
