Qafsha and Sherif return to the Egyptian national team and the exclusion of the Zamalek star

 The Portuguese coach, Carlos Queiroz, has called up Al-Ahly players Mohamed Magdy (Qafsha) and Mohamed Sherif for the squad that will play the last two matches of the African qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup this month.

Queiroz announced a list of 26 players today, Saturday, which witnessed the return of Al-Ahly midfielder Qafsha and his colleague Sherif, the team's striker, after they were absent from the last two matches in Group F of the African qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup.

Portuguese coach Tarek Hamed excluded the Zamalek midfielder from the squad that will face Angola and Gabon this month in the last two rounds of the qualifiers.

The Egyptian team will play the next two matches on November 12 in Angola, before hosting Gabon four days later.

The Egyptian Federation said on its website that the team will enter a training camp tomorrow before heading to Angola.

Egypt leads the group with ten points from four matches and needs to win the next match to qualify for the last round of qualifiers.
