Farouk - who played for several major clubs, most notably Dutch Feyenoord and Egyptian Zamalek - believes that “Palestinian players were fighters, and the title of the Fedayeen that they are famous for did not come from nowhere, but rather from their masculine performance on the field,” despite the great difference in capabilities between them and their competitors who have everything available to them.
