Zamalek, which previously qualified for the quarter-finals, raised its score to 13 points at the top of Group Two, while Abu Salim remained in second place with 9 points.

Mansi opened the scoring for Zamalek after 8 minutes when he received a cross pass from Omar Gaber and shot directly into the net.

Three minutes after the start of the second half, Mansi added the second goal after a corner kick executed inside the penalty area. The goalkeeper and Abu Salim’s defense made a mistake in clearing it to reach the Zamalek striker, who shot from close range into the net.

Ihab Al-Muqles scored the only goal for the Libyan team with a powerful shot from inside the penalty area in the 75th minute.
