Asia approves the nomination of Kuwaiti Hussein Al-Muslim to head the International Swimming Federation
The General Assembly of the Asian Swimming Federation today, Saturday, in the Omani capital, Muscat, unanimously approved the nomination of Kuwaiti Hussein Al-Muslim to head the International Federation of Sports - Vienna, during the elections scheduled for June 5, 2021.
A statement issued by the General Friday said that Al-Musallam confirmed that it is the first time that Asia nominates a person for this important position.
It is noteworthy that Hussain Al-Musallam joined the executive office of FENA for the first time in 1996, and is now the first vice-president of the International Federation, after he held the position of vice president for several years.
