– I was very happy right at the beginning when I saw the first notification "congratulations you have won", but then the joy was in your throat in three seconds.
So says Marcus Danielsson, who himself was affected by the scam email, to the newspaper. The email was written in poor Swedish, which caused him to suspect and not provide any account information, which the sender asked about.
"Ensured they handle the situation"
Now Sweden Rock's management has contacted the clothing brand to prevent more people from being reached by the scam emails.
– What we have done is to immediately pass on the information that came to us to our contacts at Blåkläder, and ensured that Blåkläder has handled the situation, says Sofia Lindqvist Lacinai, marketing manager at Sweden rock, to Sydöstran.
