This Tuesday, the sun will take the advantage with an exception for Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur and a large part of Corsica. The sky will be quite cloudy, a few thunderclaps will be possible during the afternoon and snow will fall in the middle mountains in the Southern Alps.

From PACA to Savoie and Corsica, from the morning the sky will be cloudy and some showers will occur, according to Météo-France. A few thunderclaps will be possible during the afternoon on PACA. It will fall a few flakes on the reliefs of the Southern Alps as well as on Corsica from 1200 to 1300 m. On the rest of the country, the weather will be calm, cold in the early morning. The day will then be largely sunny after dissipation of some morning mists over Brittany. Mistral and tramontane will be weaker, but will still reach 50 to 60 km/h in gusts.

Morning frosts will gain ground

Morning frosts will gain ground with lows of -4 to 0 degrees from the Massif Central to the Grand-Est, from -1 to +3 degrees from Normandy to Hauts-de-France to Centre-Val-de-Loire and Rhône-Alpes. We will expect 0 to 5 degrees elsewhere, 5 to 10 degrees on the Gulf of Lion. The maximums will display 10 to 13 degrees from the northern borders to Auvergne, they will reach 13 to 15 degrees elsewhere and up to 17 to 18 degrees in the Southwest.
