The forecaster noted that the weather in Moscow from Monday will begin with a new regime - after a frosty weekend there will be a sharp increase in temperature.

The night temperature is about -13...-15 °C, and the daytime temperature is about -10 °C,” Vilfand said.

According to RT's interlocutor, starting Thursday, Muscovites will experience a sharp drop in temperature due to the fact that the anticyclone will move from the northeast to the southwest.

“The weather will be sunny, clear, but very frosty. And already on Thursday night the temperature is about -20 °C. And then about -18...-23 °C. Daytime temperatures are also very low, about -13...-15 °C,” the forecaster concluded.

Earlier, the head of the Meteo forecasting center, Alexander Shuvalov, said that yesterday brought about two dozen records in the south of Russia.
