At the same time, light frosts will return to the region at night. In Moscow this coming night it will be about -2...-1 °C. There may be icy conditions in some places. Well, during the day the sun’s rays will actively warm up the air masses and the temperature will rise to +7...+9 °C,” Leus said.

He noted that on Wednesday and Thursday the influence of the anticyclone will become more noticeable, there will be fewer clouds in the sky, but there will still be no precipitation.

“At night it’s freezing again down to -3...-1 °C. During the day on Wednesday about +10 °C, on Thursday +10...+12 °C. The weather will change only on the last working day of this week. An atmospheric front approaching from the west will cover the sky with clouds and bring rain, but will not become colder. At night - +2...+4 °C, and during the day +10...+12 °C,” the forecaster added.

According to his preliminary forecast, temperatures will continue to rise over the weekend and will be significantly above normal.

Earlier, the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, Roman Vilfand, warned about a noticeable decrease in snow levels in Moscow.
